Let's jump right into it! The recipe below will give you about 6 waffles.
The image above displays an example of exact measurements & everything you will need for today.
- 2 cups flower
- 1 cup of milk
- 4 tea spoons baking powder
- 1 tea spoon of salt
- 1 table spoon sugar (white/or brown)
- 2 eggs
Next step! Make sure you mix all your wet ingredients and dry ingredients in two separate bowls like the image below!
A lot of mixture (thicker mix) = Thick, puffy waffles.
Less mixture ("liquidy"mix) = Softer, thinner waffles
Remember! Don't add all your ingredients at once! Add dry mix, whisk, then determine if you're satisfied with the texture or continue to add till you're satisfied & put away whatever dry mix was left over. Now your waffles are pretty much done! Just pour the mixture into your waffle maker and cook the required time your waffle maker suggests. The one in the image is a Hamilton beach which makes two waffles at a time & beams a green light when ready!
& Wa-la! You have homemade waffles. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
